We operate as a boutique firm by design. That means we take on a limited number of projects at a time so each client receives focused attention, clear communication, and consistent oversight from start to finish. From early planning and design through completion, our work is intentional, detailed, and carefully executed.

We show up prepared, communicate clearly, and treat your home as if it were our own. Hello, I’m John Paoline, owner of Incredible Home Improvements.

For over 25 years, I’ve worked in and around homes, and what has always mattered most to me isn’t just the work itself, it’s how homeowners feel while it’s being done. Not only the finished product, but the process to get there as well.

Inviting someone into your home is personal. It requires trust. Many of the clients who come to me do so after a frustrating experience—no communication, bad attitudes, hidden costs, poor continuity or contractors that simply stopped showing up.

I built Incredible Home Improvements to be the opposite of that.

I’m hands-on, present, and directly involved from start to finish. I believe clear communication, patience, and honesty are just as important as craftsmanship. My goal is to remove stress and uncertainty from the process, not add to it. To guide you through the process calmly, clearly, and with your best interests in mind at every step.

I intentionally limit the number of projects I take on so each client receives focused attention and consistent oversight. When we work together, you’re working directly with me—not being passed off or left guessing.

This is a quote I remember seeing in my father’s office as a boy. I never forgot it. Growing up in a construction focused family, I’ve had the pleasure of working aside and learning from my father my entire life. Every moment I was not in school I was on the jobsites my father worked.
 
Working with my hands is something I’ve done since I was a child and is no doubt in my blood, but growing up I knew there was something more in my heart. I attended SUNY New Paltz college and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and Design. I hope to utilize what I have learned throughout my life, using both my hands & my heart, to help you achieve what you deserve, your perfect home.

Since I’ve founded Incredible Home Improvements, I’ve since had a son and daughter of my own. Once again I’ve had to remodel my own house making changes to accommodate our new additions. I’ve further come to see the importance of how space in a home is a precious commodity, and how much time we spend within our homes.  There simply is no greater way to enhance your quality of living, then to improve your home.
 
At the time of me writing this, my son is now 13 and my daughter is 11 years old. They have taught me so much already. Each day I strive to be a better father, husband and overall person, just as I’ve striven since the beginning of IHI, to become a better craftsman, businessman and artist. I promise you that I will never stop trying to improve myself or our homes.
